Smoky Zesty Ranch with Fresh Herbs

This homemade dressing is so delicious, you'll never go back to store bought. The use of fresh herbs and buttermilk brings a tangy brightness and the smoked paprika, chipotle pepper and liquid smoke provide an unexpected depth of flavor.

  • 3/4 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 clove Fresh Garlic
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 Tbsp Liquid Smoke
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Parsley
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Dill
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Cilantro
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp Dried Onion
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 Chipotle in Adobo

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender and pulse lightly until well combined or finely chop herbs and garlic, use the Adobo sauce and all all other ingredients into a lidded container and shake vigorously until well blended or whisk in a bowl, adding more buttermilk as needed.
  2. Serve immediately or refrigerate.
