SIMMER POTS: A NATURAL ALTERNATIVE TO CANDLES

With the fall and winter season upon us, scented candles have the ability to instantly transport us into sweater weather mode, but as much as I love the ambience of a flickering candle, the truth is that many are made from petroleum based paraffin and artificial fragrances.

If you want a natural alternative to filling your home with the aroma of the holidays, consider a simmer pot. You just put all of the ingredients into a pot or pan on low heat and simmer away. Remember to check on your pot and add water as needed to prevent scorching.
